This year, Dead of Winter is thrilled to collaborate with Oscar Pantaleon and Musica Singers, a vibrant, top-quality vocal ensemble of dedicated Filipino singers. As always, the music will be fun and eclectic, featuring ethnic and holiday music, works by Filipino Winnipegger Philip Lapatha and our own Andrew Balfour and Mel Braun plus singalongs to spread the holiday spirit. About Musica Singers
Musica Singers is a vibrant community-based vocal ensemble made up of dedicated Filipino Canadian singers based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Established in 2023, and officially registered as a nonprofit organization later that same year, Musica Singers are committed to fostering a deep appreciation for choral music within the Filipino community.
